Introduction to firing the FE small electric kiln. (Club members only)

This  course, held over two evenings,  is for club members who would like to progress their skill set to firing their own and others work in the club kiln.

The course  will cover club firing admin processes, rules & responsibilities, health & safety, best practice using the kiln, understanding the firing process & terminology for bisque & glaze firings, & maintenance of the kiln & shelves. Club profiles, cone temperatures, witness cone making & use. Trouble shooting will also be covered. Tutor : Mike Wood
