2026 - Term 2 Introduction to hand building with Rein: April 21st -May 19th 2026

The ‘Introduction to Hand building’ course runs for 5 weeks
Tuesday 7pm - 9 pm - 288 Courtenay Street
Tuition covers the basic techniques used in hand building.
Week 1: Intro to wedging, clay care, pinch pot e.g. small animal
Week 2: Basic method of coil pot, add ons - e.g. stamped decorations
Week 3: Slab work e.g. build a model house
Week 4: Using molds
Week 5: Glazing your work

The class fee includes clay, firing and glazing costs.

Requirements:

minimum age - 16 years

If we receive insufficient enrolments the class may need to be cancelled.

Cancellations :

• no refunds after April 15th
• if you can't attend, please find someone else to take your place

You will need to wear covered footwear & bring a towel & plastic bag with you.
